Prohibited & Restricted Items

Some products cannot be purchased, received, stored, exported, transported, imported or delivered. Other products require prior approval, permits, special packaging, additional documents or an approved carrier.

Contact us before ordering or shipping any questionable item. Acceptance by a Vendor Store or delivery to a warehouse does not guarantee that the item can be transported, exported or imported.

Items We Do Not Accept

2PriceTags may refuse products that are illegal, unsafe, improperly declared or prohibited by a Vendor Store, warehouse, courier, carrier, airline, vessel operator, Customs authority or government agency.

Examples include:

  • Illegal drugs, narcotics and unlawful controlled substances
  • Counterfeit currency, forged documents and fraudulent goods
  • Stolen merchandise or products obtained through fraud
  • Illegal weapons, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices
  • Indecent, obscene or otherwise unlawful material
  • Food, beverages or other consumable goods that are spoiled, contaminated, expired or unfit for human consumption
  • Hazardous, leaking, damaged, unidentified or improperly packaged substances
  • Products prohibited from export, transportation, importation, possession or use at the destination
  • Products containing false descriptions, undeclared contents or incorrect values
  • Any item that cannot be handled safely or legally by the available service provider

Items Requiring Prior Approval

Do not order or send the following categories to a warehouse until written approval and shipping instructions have been provided:

  • Firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, knives, defensive devices and weapon-related products
  • Lithium batteries, loose batteries, power banks and battery-powered equipment
  • Aerosols, sprays, perfumes, nail products, paints, solvents, glues, fuels and flammable liquids
  • Chemicals, pesticides, fertilisers, cleaning concentrates and other hazardous materials
  • Prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, medical devices and pharmaceutical products
  • Vitamins, supplements, cosmetics, skin-care and personal-care products
  • Alcohol, tobacco, vaping products and related accessories
  • Food, beverages, meat, seafood, dairy, produce, seeds, plants and agricultural products
  • Live animals, animal products, biological materials and specimens

  • High-value jewellery, precious metals, currency and negotiable instruments
  • Oversized, unusually heavy, fragile or special-handling merchandise
  • Branded products that may be subject to intellectual-property, export or import controls

Air, Ocean and Ground Restrictions

An item permitted by one carrier or freight method may be restricted by another. Batteries, aerosols, liquids, chemicals, flammable products, magnets, temperature-sensitive goods and oversized merchandise may require a different service, special packaging or additional charges.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Confirm that the product may legally be purchased, exported, transported, imported, possessed and used at the destination.
  • Provide an accurate product description, quantity, value, invoice and required tracking information.
  • Disclose batteries, liquids, chemicals, food, medicine and all regulated contents before purchase or shipment.
  • Obtain and provide any required permit, licence, prescription, authorisation or supporting document.
  • Do not disguise, mislabel, undervalue or omit merchandise from shipping or Customs documents.

Package Review and Inspection

We may review customer declarations, supplier invoices, tracking information, package labels, visible warning markings, weights, dimensions, carrier requirements and Customs documents.

Our ordinary receiving service does not include opening every package or counting and inspecting every item inside. Receipt at a warehouse does not confirm that merchandise is lawful, correctly declared or approved for transportation or importation.

A package may be held or inspected when legally permitted and reasonably required because of visible damage, leakage, conflicting information, missing documents, carrier requirements, Customs instructions, safety concerns or suspected prohibited contents.

Refused or Undeclared Merchandise

2PriceTags may refuse, hold, cancel, return, transfer or arrange lawful disposal of merchandise that is prohibited, restricted, unsafe, undeclared, incorrectly documented or unsuitable for the available service.

Purchasing, receiving, inspection, storage, return, special handling, compliance and disposal charges may be charged to the customer where permitted.

Payment, purchase confirmation, warehouse receipt or possession of a tracking number does not guarantee acceptance, transportation, Customs clearance or delivery.

Customs and other government authorities make the final decisions concerning classification, inspection, detention, release, seizure, return or destruction.
